Meet the team: Miriam Livier
How long have you been working at Ivaldi? How did it all start?
I joined Ivaldi in May 2021.
During the first year of my Master’s program, I met Ivaldi´s CPO in the “Universidad Panamericana.” He presented the company overview including: their mission, vision, values, and company culture. I fell in love with Ivaldi´s global business model to promote such great benefits, solutions and industry improvements by accomplishing its mission to create a global and digital supply chain where the right parts are manufactured on-demand locally, saving time, money and carbon emissions. Their solutions also open up the possibility for local jobs and technological development for heavy industry operations in rural and remote areas. I knew after hearing this that I wanted to join Ivaldi and I wanted to be part of such an innovative and forward-thinking team!
What is your expertise/ role?
Regional Key Account Manager for LATAM and Spain.
My expertise is in business development, ISO 9001 quality standards, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, and CSR. I have worked in the energy sector, particularly as a sales success team member of gas engines, the progress of EPC co-generation projects, supply chain operations and management of long term maintenance and spare parts contracts. Through this I developed ongoing relationships with customers and regional distributors and had a keen focus on providing customer satisfaction. I was also responsible for delivering on contractual obligations and maximizing volumes as well as running the service offerings for the heavy industry sector. This lends well to my role at Ivaldi where I work with similar industries and sectors and help them solve their problems and reduce their costs, time to customer, and carbon footprint.
What’s your favorite part about working at the company?
My favorite part about working at Ivaldi is delivering on everything our vision says: “a global commitment to digital transformation through innovative strategies.” This means we have a part in bringing technological development and sustainable solutions to our customers, which is important and necessary work.
What are the company’s values you stand for?
Sustainability commitments; our focus on people, planet, and profit by promoting development through transforming the world’s inventory by sending files, not parts. I am proud that what we say is what we do, every day.
How do you spend your time outside of work? What do you enjoy doing?
I do enjoy a lot of different activities, like taking a walk with Azteca, which is my furry kid (dog), working out in my personal gym (due to covid, I have created a gym in one of my rooms), watching epic science fiction films and reviewing blogs or news on innovative trends. (NOTE: Innovation and digital solutions are the future, not only for Industry operations but for other areas too, such as: smart houses, apps, film entertainment, (effects) and even health and science advances.
