At Ivaldi Group, we want to meet you. That’s why we’ll be at Nor-Shipping 2019 from Tuesday, June 4th to Friday, June 7th. This event will take place in Oslo, at the Norway Trade Fairs, in Messeveien 8, Lillestrøm (2004) where you will find us at stand A1-22 in hall A1. Our CEO, Espen Sivertsen will be at the booth, so make sure to drop by!

Nor-Shipping in a nutshell
Nor-Shipping is the meeting place for all the major players in the industries of the future, closely related to the maritime sector. Head of companies, investors, engineers, and more, meet here to discuss innovative solutions that will influence the maritime world in the coming years.
The most important and creative companies in the sector, whether large multinationals or young startups will be present, this event will therefore offer great opportunities for meetings and exchanges.

What’s going on during Nor-Shipping 2019?
Exhibitions
Nor-Shipping will present various exhibitions on the key issues of the marine industry today.
A novelty is the integration of a hall dedicated to the Blue Economy, presented by the organizers as the “sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods and jobs, and ocean ecosystem health”.
Events
Indeed, the booths are great for discovering new and innovative companies, but the best way to make meaningful encounters is sometimes to gather around a drink. It’s the reason why Nor-Shipping organizers decided to schedule a list of events, in order to create social link between visitors and exhibitors.
Want to develop your network or just to rest after walking through the exhibition area all day? All right, the Nor-Shipping Festival Street is the place to go. You can even enjoy the beautiful Oslo cityscape while listening to the evening’s shifting soundtrack.
Feeling a little hungry or thirsty? Don’t worry, there is an amazing Nor-Shipping BBQ with 20 cooks ready to prepare 2,000 kilos of food (grilled meats, vegetables, seafood, cold cuts and a selection of desserts) while 25 waiters are looking to serve 1,000 bottles of wine and 2,500 glasses of beer.
Once your belly is filled up, make sure to attend the closing party hosted by Viking Cruises.
On this special evening “the Norwegian cruise ship Viking Jupiter will be named,” so guests are invited to a concert with exceptional international artists. The cherry on top, “the largest fireworks that Oslo has ever seen” will mark the end of Nor-Shipping 2019.
Launched in 2013, the Young Entrepreneur Award is open to nominees from all segments of the industry. You just have to be a “40-year-old professional who has founded a successful company that addresses challenges or solutions in a new way”. Unfortunately, it is now too late to propose a new candidate since the application deadline was January 10, 2019.
But the award ceremony will still be an opportunity to discover outstanding personalities working in the maritime sector.
In summary, Nor-Shipping is a meeting not to be missed if you are looking to create diverse and varied relationships in different segments of the maritime industry. We will, for sure, be part of it, and are looking forward to meeting with you!
