Additive manufacturing (AM) industry day for oil and gas and maritime industries

Since the foundation of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in 1864 passing through the merger with Germanischer Lloyd (GL) on September 12, 2013 until today, DNV GL aims to see the bigger picture, “from advising on tomorrow’s energy infrastructure to creating technical standards for the safety of the world’s shipping fleet, or assessing the sustainability of a food value chain.”
This upcoming June, DNV GL cooperates with Energy Valley to organize the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Industry Day for Oil & Gas and Maritime Industries. It’s the place to be if you want to learn more about “guidelines, approval programs, and results from projects related to AM.”
This event will take place on June 28, 2019, from 09:00 to 17:00 at the DNV GL headquarters, Veritasveien 1, Building 3, 1363 Høvi, Høvik (Oslo), Norway.

The principal objective of this event is to discuss some of the main challenges related to additive manufacturing, and how to fix those.
